What is a UXO Watching Brief?
It’s when a UXO Specialist has been deployed directly on-site to support and monitor groundworks, working closely with machine operators and ground personnel.
Our UXO Specialists (who are EOD certified), act as a banksman to make sure that excavations are carried out in a controlled and safe manner – and to provide a fast response to any suspect or suspicious items that are encountered.
Depending on the nature, type and condition of the item, immediate UXO control measures can be put in place.
Direct, on-site support is the most common, practical and effective way of protecting your ground operatives and assets.
We can also provide UXO Safety & Awareness Training to all new personnel joining your project.
